Gianna Drocco

Hi, I’m Gianna! I’m based in San Francisco and passionate about early childhood education and the vital relationships that form in preschool communities. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Early Childhood Education at the Boulder Journey School, where I’m deepening my understanding of play-based learning and school leadership. Before this, I earned a Master’s in Counseling from St. Mary’s College and became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in schools supporting children’s social-emotional growth while also partnering with teachers and administrators to navigate challenges like burnout and difficult conversations. My goal is to help create preschool environments where both children and adults feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow together.
